The Notswolds Events curates vibrant, immersive experiences that celebrate the beauty, creativity and independent spirit of our region. The “Notswolds” is our name for the collection of neighbouring counties surrounding Rutland the heart of it all including the countryside villages of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire. It represents a shared identity across a cluster of beautiful places, and our events are designed to showcase the people and businesses that make this area so special. Every experience we create is elevated yet welcoming — polished in delivery, rooted in community.
OUR STORY
Notswolds Events grew from friendship, shared ambition and a deep love of local life. Founders Victoria and Hannah first met as new mums at a baby music class, quickly bonding over their passion for events and community. What began as casual conversations about the local scene evolved into a vision: to build a brand that celebrates the region while supporting the people within it.
Today, they are growing The Notswolds Events while navigating life as working mothers, proudly championing other women balancing business and family. Their journey is rooted in collaboration, resilience and a belief that great events have the power to bring people together in meaningful ways.
Together, Victoria and Hannah blend big-event expertise with genuine local heart, creating memorable experiences that showcase the best of the Notswolds.

Victoria is a passionate advocate for the local business community and thrives on bringing independent businesses together. She previously owned the much-loved Oakham coffee shop Hungry Birds, which she sold in 2019, before going on to run the boutique clothing store Prink alongside her growing work in events. Through these ventures, she built a strong connection with the High Street and developed a reputation for supporting and championing small businesses.
Victoria has organised much-loved annual events including the Rutland Big Sale and the Rutland Christmas Market, as well as hosting networking initiatives that helped local entrepreneurs connect and grow. She also co-founded Rutland Women in Business, a platform dedicated to empowering and supporting female founders.
Her deep connection to the Notswolds and her genuine love for the area sit at the centre of everything she creates, bringing warmth, energy and a strong sense of community to every event.
HANNAH
Hannah brings extensive commercial and international event expertise to The Notswolds Events. Having worked with major brands across the UK and globally, she has delivered large-scale product launches, festivals and exhibitions, combining creative vision with strategic execution.
Her background ensures every event is delivered to the highest professional standard while still feeling warm, welcoming and personal. Hannah is passionate about creating experiences that run seamlessly, engage audiences and leave a lasting impression.
